I’m a Texas native who found my way to North Carolina, drawn by my love of filmmaking. My fascination with movies began early when my father took me, a newborn, to see Pulp Fiction. Legend has it that I sat awake through the entire film. At the tender age of seven, when I naively agreed to watch Carrie, I became fascinated with horror. Now, I will say it took a few days for the absolute terror to wear off, but it changed my life. Later that year, I starred in my first film—an ambitious horror short about a crazed neighbor, played by my friend, whose obsession with me and my Legos spiraled out of control. We narrowly lost out on the Oscar.

Whether it was poetry, songs, or writing in my journal about which boy I was obsessed with that week, writing and storytelling have been in my life for as long as I can remember. I took these passions and dipped my toes in the theater world, where I acted in various productions for about twelve years, even leading to me start my college career as a theater major. It didn't last too long, but it did do one thing..It solidified the fact that I really loved filmmaking and there was nothing else I wanted to do.

Throughout my college career, I had the incredible opportunity to work with some amazing artists and mentors, whom I thank for getting me to this point. During my second year at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts, I had the immense pleasure of leading a group of writers in the creation of "Masterpiece," a six-episode web series in which I was the creator and showrunner, executive producer, and wrote the finale episode. Although the school wasn't too happy when I kept asking for more blood (Go big or go home, right?) I was met with enthusiasm and intrigue.

Since graduating, I've completed several scripts, one being "Take Me To The Woods," which I filmed in the Spring of 2023. Currently, I'm in pre-production of my next short, "Where the Sunflowers Grow."

My one goal in all of this has, and always will be the fact that I want to tell the stories I'm passionate about. That drive and push me to be my best. I love what I do, and I intend on doing it for as long as I can.
